Click on the first link to view the 10-K. That is annual report. The others are just exhibits which will be discussed in the 10-K. They may or may not be useful.

Thanks for sharing the link, I could see new links in my google reader. But when I click on any company's filing link it does not appear anywhere like the image and screen shot added in the above post.
Pardon my ignorance but do I need to lick on each of the six links to read more about the company.
They appear like below
1	v216081_10k.htm	10-K	538806
2 v216081_ex14-1.htm	EX-14.1	24014
3 v216081_ex31-1.htm	EX-31.1	10162
4 v216081_ex31-2.htm	EX-31.2	10129
5 v216081_ex32-1.htm	EX-32.1	5168
6 v216081_ex32-2.htm	EX-32.2	5175
 Complete submission text file	0001144204-11-017693.txt
What am I doing wrong,
Thanks for your help. A

Yup thanks Hester. Good point. I'll start with the A's!!!

For any uk investors out there looking for historic annual reports northcote seems quite a good resource. http://www.northcote.co.uk/ obviously it's a bit more timely than using the morningstar method though!

Why don't you just go to the company filings! You should be able to find 10 years of statements on each company's website. If not you can request it.

Hi

Thanks for that, a great tip....however the frustrating thing is i believe it is limited to S+P 500 companies? As soon as you enter a UK company it seems to revert to the usual data, 5 years with a summarised cash flow sheet. The best i can find is MSN.com where you get 5 years accounts and a 10 year eps/ ebit summary, however thats not much good for doing DCF's etc.

I'm seriously considering limiting myself to US companies based purely on the data available!!

I have a feeling that me posting this will cause the loophole to be closed, but for now:

http://quicktake.morningstar.com/StockNet/balance10.aspx?Country=USA&Symbol=NXG

Just enter in whichever ticker you are interested in and as long as you don't navigate away from the "financials" tab, you will have your ten years of data.

But you didn't hear it from me.

Here's what I sent Bert in an email:

I've heard this complaint a lot about not being able to find 10 years of data, particularly for FTSE/non-US stocks. Morningstar used to offer 10 years of data free, but have recently redesigned their site to only offer five years of data without a paid subscription. You might find it at ADVFN.com, though they have been requiring memberships lately too (not sure if you have to pay).

I'm currently working on plans to start offering 10 years (or more) of fundamental data through F Wall Street, but we're probably still a few months away from that and it will likely start with US companies.

I'm sorry I can't help more, but these are really your only options short of ponying up $18,000+ a year for a subscription to Compustat or another institutional data provider.

Hope it helps!

Hi,

I know this post is over a year late but any UK value investors out there? I'm having trouble finding cash flow statements that go back 10 years for UK companies, FTSE etc. Morningstar+ MSN only offer 5 years, as does the London Stock Exchange. Anyone know any other sources?

thanks
