If you hold through the closing, the payment is usually credited within 24-hours, but may settle T 3 like traditional stock trades. I notice there is still quite a bit of volume (2/19/08). Are these day traders or is the aquiring company buying the stock as it becomes available? 2. "There are no remaining regulatory approvals needed to close the transaction. The Company anticipates closing on or before March 31, 2008." Sweet. I can't find enough about financing though.
